Mrs. Crist

I began my career in education working for two years in ELD and Federal Programs before moving into the classroom, where I spent the past eight years teaching second grade. I am excited to begin this new chapter as a Literacy Coach and to support both students and teachers in developing a love of reading, learning, and growth.

I was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University and my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Idaho.

My husband is a math teacher, and together we have two sons. As a family, we love spending time outdoors, especially fishing and camping.

At the heart of my work as an educator is the belief that every child is capable of growth and that every child needs a champion—someone who believes in them, encourages them, and helps them recognize their own potential. I am excited to bring my experience, enthusiasm, and passion for literacy into my new role!
