Hi, my name is Camryn Ernst and I am a second-grade teacher at Hailey Elementary! I grew up in Northern California before attending the University of Utah, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies. After college, I moved to Hailey "for the summer," but fell in love with the Wood River Valley and have been here ever since.

After working in the environmental non-profit space for a few years, I felt the pull of teaching and spent the last three years at Hemingway STEAM School in Ketchum, serving in various roles there. During that time, I began my Master's in Teaching program, which I am in the process of completing.

I am beyond excited and honored to teach second-grade in such a wonderful community. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my partner and our dog, whether it's hiking, mountain biking, skiing, camping, or sitting next to the river with a good book.

I'm looking forward to a year filled with learning, growing, and making memories together. Go Comets!
